The Franklin Merriam-Webster Spell N’ Calc is an electronic dictionary that can be downloaded onto your handheld device. The software also has a thesaurus as well, which makes it easy to find related words and phrases when you need them. This version of the dictionary comes with 130,000 words in over 100 language categories for $15 on Amazon
I found 5 customer reviews at the time of writing and they had awarded this product 3 stars out of a possible 5 on average.
Pros: “It’s useful especially when someone is speaking another language such as Spanish or French,” said one reviewer who gave it 4 stars out of five. Another reviewer considered this dictionary helpful for students because “it gives you options about how to spell each word” but liked that there was no subscription fee either. They thought their money was best spent elsewhere too saying “This would have been great if I wouldn’t have already purchased other dictionaries like my Oxford Dictionary.”
Cons: A few customers were unhappy with some aspects of this product such as its age (which might not suit younger people) and lackadaisical interface (but then again others think otherwise). One particular person even felt let down by these features suggesting he should’ve paid more attention before purchasing stating “for what I was looking for–a basic calculator–this app wasn’t worth paying anywhere near $25.” So overall, while most reviewers seemed happy with their purchase, there are those who didn’t enjoy their experience enough to recommend it wholeheartedly

Conclusion

If you are looking for a dictionary that includes all of the words in English, then this is not your best option. However, if you want to make sure that a word has no misspellings or typos and is spelled correctly throughout it’s printed dictionaries, then the Franklin Merriam-Webster Spell N’ Calc
is perfect for you. This electronic tool will allow users to work with their favorite spell checker and use spelling suggestions from Wikipedia
