The MUNBYN Barcode Scanner Android is the best bar code scanner app for your smartphone. It’s also really easy to use and has pretty good reviews, with a rating of 5 stars out of possible 5 from 26 customers who reviewed it on Amazon at the time I wrote this review.
What makes it stand out for me is that there are no in-app purchases or ads – everything you need comes straight up front so you can get started scanning right away! This works great if you want to use more than one device and don’t want too many apps clogging up your phone memory.
One customer was disappointed because they said, “I had some problems receiving my order … but customer service did solve them quickly” while another customer found that their product got lost in transit, which wasn’t as easily solved by MUNBYN as they would have hoped: “When we contacted them (MUNBYN) about our missing package(s), they were not helpful.” They ended up being sent two replacements at no cost without having to return the original shipment first though.
As a result of these issues – although few and minor compared with how much positive feedback I’ve seen elsewhere – I’m less enthusiastic about recommending the MUNBYN Barcode Scanner Android than maybe other products might be, but overall people seem happy enough with it after all!
